CASCO: Classic Auto Supply Company

casco

Some of you may not know, but CASCO (Classic Auto Supply Company) is located on 795 High Street Coshocton, Ohio in Roscoe.  It is a manufacturer and retail store of car parts exclusively for the 1955, 1956, and 1957 Ford Thunderbirds.

About Bill and Sue Brown:

In 1968, Bill Brown had no intention of starting his own company. Prior, he was an engineer at GE and just enjoyed working on cars as a hobby.  He started to realize that there were a few parts in particular that were very hard to find or just unavailable all together.  In 1969, he decided to begin doing this on his own and see how he liked it.  Bill was working out of his basement and was quickly running out of room, and filling up his whole house with Thunderbird car parts.

Bill was able to find a very small, yet successful niche that has done him well, and it is one of the only ones in the United States.  How cool is it to say that this is coming straight from Coshocton County!

About the Business:

Beginning in the year 2000, Bill and Sue (his wife) decided to retire and let his son and daughter-in-law run the business, Betsy and Jim Brown.  They offer a wide variety of machines including manual and CNC milling, turning, cutting, bending, punching, and welding machines. Not to mention, you can order items online, in store, or through the phone. CASCO provides approximately 3500 products and about 15 employees that help keep this small factory going.
