Anyone that grew up in a small town has heard it. “There’s nothing to do here!” But the more you really dig into that statement, the more you know it’s simply not true!
Let’s take last weekend for example. On one Saturday in Coshocton County, Raven’s Glenn Winery hosted their annual Red, Wine and Blue event and the Indian Mud Run, a nearly world famous obstacle race was at Lake Park. Both of these events drew crowds from around the state and (literally) around the world. And this was just one Saturday in Coshocton County. Not bad for a “No Name Town.”
Oh…and that leads us to THIS Saturday!
If you are looking around and think there is nothing to do this weekend, you should head to the “No Name Town Music Festival” on Main Street in Coshocton. The event, created by up and coming Country Star Casee Allen, will feature many talented country artists both from Coshocton County, and around the country. Some of the featured artists (in addition to Casee Allen) include:

•Brian Milson
•Timothy Paul
•Nick Walker
•Kylee Caudill
•Rese Jhordan
The event runs from 4pm to 10pm and VIP tickets are still available here. The success of last year’s event (see video here) created the need to go bigger and better this year.
“It’s a great event and a great opportunity to give back to my hometown,” says Casee Allen.
One thing it does for sure. It creates a very real answer to this question.
Is there anything to do this weekend? Yeah…there is.
