Letters from Leaders

Hi! My name is Amy Stockdale and I am the executive director of the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce is group of people dedicated to make Coshocton County a better place. We are adamant on improving Coshocton each day in many different ways. We provide networking opportunities, positive business advocacies, and strong ties to Coshocton by offering several beneficial events throughout the year; such as the Annual Awards dinner and the Health, Safety & Wellness Expo. Not only are these events something our community looks forward to, but also events that are thought about year-round because of the annual awards given.

Currently what we enjoy doing most is promoting small businesses through Facebook Live videos, Shop Local promotions, ribbon cuttings, Grand Openings, and member luncheons. This support is happening on a daily basis. We strive to help our community with economic development initiatives and employment services through working closely with our business’s needs, while creating a positive business atmosphere.

As a leader in the community of Coshocton, I am passionate about promoting positivity and we feel the need to be cognizant about how we represent Coshocton County each day. Every single one of us is an ambassador and representative of the community we live in, and we have to be sure that in person and on social media that we are sharing the good, rather than rallying the negativity.

There is an old Chinese proverb that says, “The person who says it cannot be done, should not interrupt the person doing it.” It is our goal to keep local companies growing and succeeding while helping other companies relocate to Coshocton County. We are working diligently to do this every day and are so excited how far Coshocton has come, and what we will achieve in the future.
