Additionally, the firm has added a new associate, Seth Finton, of Coshocton.  Seth, a lifelong resident of Coshocton, will begin his practice July 1.  As a new associate, Seth will help to serve the communities of both Muskingum and Coshocton counties.

“I am excited and honored to not only be joining as these two firms come together,” says Finton, “but I am also thrilled to be back in my hometown.”

Leech, Scherbel & Peddicord LLC traces its roots back to 1946 when Thomas B. Leech returned from military service and started practicing law in his hometown of Coshocton.  Through the succession of attorneys over the years, the firm has continued to provide trusted legal services to its clients for over 70 years with concentration in the areas of business law and formation, real estate and acquisition law, probate and estate administration and family asset protection.

“We have always been proud of our rich legal history,” says Paul Scherbel.  “This merger allows for that tradition to continue.  We felt the need to bring new attorneys to Coshocton and we will now be able to serve Coshocton County in all areas of the law for years to come.”

Gottlieb, Johnston, Beam, and Dal Ponte, PLL was founded in 1962 by Harold Gottlieb, Ross Johnston, and J. Robert Beam.
