Are you interested in getting a college degree, but just have no way of getting the funds to go?

If you live in Coshocton County (for over a year), you no longer have to worry about the funds.

You can go to college for FREE!

The Coshocton Promise is a brand new program initially possible through a partnership between COTC and the Coshocton Foundation’s Clarence and Grace Miller Scholarship. This promise from Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) guarantees that tuition will be ENTIRELY covered by institutional, federal, and state aid as well as private scholarships.

This is huge.

Because of this amazing opportunity, it is going to affect about 90% of Coshocton’s population, and change those who take advantage of this, forever. Not only does this give the people of Coshocton the opportunity to improve themselves and their families, but will help create an even more stable environment for those to come.

Any student with an annual household income of $60,000 or less reported on the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is absolutely qualified for FREE COLLEGE education.

The only requirement is that you have currently been a Coshocton resident for at least one year.

This free college education will start in this coming summer semester in 2019. You can enroll at any COTC campus or online and there is no separate application, all you have to do is enroll, and do the FAFSA.

There are deadlines for registering for classes and getting your FAFSA in, so if you are interested, make sure you have all the deadlines met so that you can let this completely impact your life for the better.

This is open to new, current, and returning COTC students who do NOT already have a bachelor’s or associate’s degree.  Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA (grade point average) and maintain the other federal eligibility requirements each semester enrolled at COTC to be sure you keep the Coshocton Promise eligibility.

So whether you can take advantage of this program, of if you know someone who can, now is the time! So, take the steps! They won’t take you long, in comparison on how it will change your life forever!

We couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity for the residents of Coshocton County, and cannot wait to see how it affects our town for the better.  Great things are happening here every day, and we are thankful for those working hard consistently to improve Coshocton even more.

You can contact COTC by phone at (740)-622-1408 or go.cotc.edu/promise or we are located in Roscoe Village on the right side and their hours are 8am-10pm.
